As a young lawyer, Kim was obsessed with following the rules to achieve the success she so deeply desired. 'Tell me what to do to make it to the top, and I'll do it,' she'd say. And she did every single thing. Keeping her life in tidy little boxes, she leaned heavily into strategy, while fiercely hiding one of her biggest gifts - her sparkly, innovative, creative side that led her to become a National Latin Dance champion in secret.
Everything changed when Kim was unexpectedly outed as a dancer before the Missouri Supreme Court. In that moment, everything she believed about success and differentiation was turned on its head.
As she began to challenge the rules and beliefs about how we truly maximize our capacity to show up and do our best work, a radical truth emerged: strategic unruliness is required to unlock our hidden capacity.
Today... Kim shares her Strategically Unruly™ framework from stages across the country, providing immediately actionable strategies to transform organizations from operating at partial capacity to unleashing their full talent and potential.
When not working... Kim is in the studio dancing, at the dog park with her doodles, or traveling between New York and Miami to visit her two kids, Nick and Samantha.

Kim Bolourtchi is a keynote speaker, lawyer, strategic executive consultant, top-rated communications professor, and published author who expertly guides leaders and organizations through periods of exponential growth and change.

Kim loves to help others maximize their potential, achieving far more than they ever thought was possible, and brings her passion, energy and experience to help businesses create thriving cultures where people love to work. Along with her experiential keynote style and her desire to help people take up space through presence and body power, she has helped hundreds of individuals level up.
Kim has served as the Director of Leadership and Professional Development for a Top 20 law school, and developed curriculum for graduate level classes in Organizational, Leadership, and Strategic Communication and Public Speaking. She has served as Founder, CEO and Managing Member for a number of highly successful organizations, and her book, "Truly Inspired: Secrets for Finding Extraordinary Success at Work," is a roadmap for rising professionals in all stages of life and career transition. Kim is also the creator of UNMUTED, a program teaching first generation college students how to blast past four of the biggest obstacles to their success.
When she’s not commanding stages as a keynote speaker, she also hosts the podcast Get Unruly, is a competitive Latin dancer, and leads life-changing retreats in Mexico where she teaches dance on the beach every day.
